Hopefully picture 4 the last page of the booklet that booklet came out of MY listening copy, by the way is readable enough to assure the buyer that the approach on this set was to present the stereo masters as is, with a minimal amount of tweaking.
With all due respect to the recent half speed mastered pressings which sound very good , all of those half speeds mastered at Abbey Road are cut from hi-rez digital.
My experience is that only analogue pressings allow you to crank it up as loud as your system will allow, whereas I always seem to hit a limit after which digital masters start to sound unpleasant.
This is THE best sounding CCR set you will ever hear, and nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find in any condition, let alone sealed.

While Bad Moon and Proud Mary arguably lose some of the punch of the original mixes, these wide stereo mixes are almost like getting access to the multi track stems.
You won t believe how many layers Bad Moon Rising was constructed from, and you ll gain a whole new level of respect for John Fogerty s genius and the band s versatility.
I would argue that, with all due respect to the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Eagles, CCR is THE premier American rock band, and these recordings have aged SO well.
Even the B material sounds so fantastic that you ll revel in the good vibes and unfussy arrangements.
