Labels :
Classic UK 1st Press EARLIEST EVER pre release test press white labels Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn t had much play over the years at all AWESOME for a 44 year old record Both must grade overall at least as Very Good
Record : Visual -
Spectacular Original White Label 1974 UK 1st Press Vinyl Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever The only blemishes are just some light wispy sleeve traces, a few mild hairlines and age marks, and just a small amount of cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuffs only visible in direct angled light mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it s cover over the years Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with smoothness of play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall at least as Very Good minus graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Record : Audio -
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity It really sounds awesome with NO hisses, hops, distortion, skips OR sticks Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle here and there, five clicks at the very start of side A and a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions, and a hint of low level ultra light bluesman s fag atmospheric static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn t overshadow the music AT ALL I d even argue it gives it added soul And that s truly about it The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from 1st Press UK earliest ever white label vinyl An outstanding listen Absolutely ESSENTIAL FANTASTIC for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall audibly at the very least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Sleeve :
Original 1974 UK 1st Press unlaminated Shorewood sleeve complete with inner IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP This one is NOT, and looks BRILLIANT, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves NO tears, NO writing OR graffiti, NO seam splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years Only has a few mild signs of usual ageing such as a small amount of ultra light creases and a touch of a record imprint, one or two light storage scuffs and just a mere hint of whitening to rare parts of the seams from where it has sat on the shelf over the years truly minimal - absolutely NO splits whatsoever , just a few mild signs of other general ultra light ageing such as some mild age spots and VERY minor hints of ink rubbing absolutely nothing too drastic at all , a touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP s have, and POSSIBLY just to be sure one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all And that s truly about it I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can find, but this remains a BRILLIANT sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as awesome as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100 readable Must grade overall at least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Summary : A PHENOMENAL A1 B1 white label pre release test press example of this INCREDIBLY RARE classic original 1975 UK 1st Press LP Hard to find in ANY condition, but IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS AWESOME AS THIS YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don t miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60 s/70 s music history Bid now

I ve realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system occasionally with a or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i m having real trouble deciding , so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100 perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps
