Item Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP especially in this condition by The Beatles called Yellow Submarine and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dark Apple label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE IT SOLD FAR FAR LESS THAN ANY OF THEIR OTHER LPs AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK BACK IN 1969, NEARLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON STEREO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE MONO AT ALL MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK MONOS BY THIS POINT - AND IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE BY SPECIAL ORDER ONLY AS A RESULT, FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP IN MEGA RARE MONO IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE - AS BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE FACTORY SAMPLE 1ST PRESSING FACTORY SAMPLE 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY , AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR IN-HOUSE USE BY EMI / APPLE THEMSELVES FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES , SENT TO RADIO STATIONS OR REVIEWERS AT THE TIME FOR PROMOTION , OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO IMPORTANT VISITORS TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE THEY WERE NEARLY ALWAYS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE AS IN THIS CASE - AND ARE NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND OF COURSE, YOU CAN NEVER BEE 100 CERTAIN THAT THEY WERE ON THIS LP FROM NEW UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FULL LPs HISTORY . THOUGH IN THIS CASE, I HAVE EXAMINED THE STICKER VERY CAREFULLY INDEED - AND IT IS 100 GENIUNE NOT A RE-PRINT , AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF RE-STICKING AND NO GLUE MARKS EITHER THE STICKER IS ALSO 100 FLAT TO THE TOUCH TOO NO CREASES ETC AND LOOKS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT - LEADING ME TO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT IT HAS BEEN ON THIS LP FROM NEW, AND THE STICKER ITSELF IS DEFINITELY 100 GENIUNE IN ALL RESPECTS BARELY ANY FACTORY SAMPLE PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES LPs EVER MADE

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND IS 100 COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS BLACK INNER SLEEVE USUALLY MISSING WHICH IS 100 GENIUNE FOR ONCE AND NOT A RE-PRO JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DARK GREEN APPLE LABEL, 1ST PRESS SOLD IN THE UK LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS BLACK APPLE INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GARROD LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO COVER WITH RED LINES ABOVE BELOW THE REAR SLEEVE NOTE ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY This is the ORIGINAL Apple UK 1st Pressing from 1969, and is in GREAT condition The matrix numbers are XEX 715-1 XEX 716-1. The Cat. No is PMC 7070 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Dark Apple label see picture and is a MONO 1st Pressing All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition

The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO wear, only VERY minor texturisation , only 1 VERY minor indentation line almost INVISIBLE on 1 label ONLY, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks The vinyl is in GREAT condition and looks absolutely BRILLIANT Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 TINY surface marks completely NON sounding , and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW It is also great to find that the playing of the record is almost as STUNNING as the visual It plays with NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL Typically for this LP - there is a bit of background sound on the run on grooves gaps - though this is lost WAY behind the music, apart from the VERY quietest parts of the orchestral side And the Beatles side plays BRILLIANTLY The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either The record must grade Very Good if not better Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to Brillant The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Black Apple Inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition The ORIGINAL 1st Press Garrod Lofthouse Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in GREAT condition It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear apart from a few VERY small creases on the spinal edge - though this is not unusual on this cover , NO splits, only VERY slight corner wear NOT through the colour , NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of tipping in to the bottom corner tips, NO rips, NO tears, only a few VERY light creases elsewhere cover is still flat looking , shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, and NO writing The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed if not better - though I strongly suspect most would add a to this grading, as it is certainly still a very VERY decent cover indeed THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS ESPECIALLY IN MEGA RARE MONO - AND AS AN ULTRA RARE PROMOTIONAL FACTORY SAMPLE COPY - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY

Thanks again - Graham XXXRecords.

PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt.
MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS I always undercharge on postage :- Due to UK Royal Mail s obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little. Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002. However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever. However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100 guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out. Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself. On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package please check it when you recieve it . I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference. THAT IS MY 100 POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I ll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged. Any questions - please ask
