The album comes complete with it s original UK 1st issue Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve and the all important Large POSTER
The original 1972 UK 1st issue Howard Printers Slough Ltd fully laminated envelope cover with top flap is in VG / VG condition, lovely and clean, nice quality lamination, wear to the corners, some lamination bubbling, the top envelope flap is split in the middle. The spine is broad, clean and perfectly readable. No unwanted writing, no seam splits.
The original 1st Press vinyl is in VG / EX condition, gleaming with all it original shine and lustre. The vinyl plays EX , playing with superb clarity, depth and warmth, only a little light crackle to be heard in places, mainly in Solitude the quietest track on the album by far, not audioably intrusive.
The labels are in EX condition, nice and clean, bright and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear.
The original 1972 UK 1st issue black and white VERTIGO SWIRL polythene lined inner sleeve is in EX condition, nice and clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing.
The RARE original 1st issue large poster is in EX condition. The poster is made and printed on nice quality thick stock cartridge paper. The poster folds into 6 folds. The poster maintains all it s original bright fresh colour. Only pin holes in all four corners stops this beautiful poster from being graded higher. See in my photo s, the photo of the top left corner of the poster, this is the worst of the tiny holes, the other 3 are less intrusive, minor in comparison. Their are no seam splits. The back is clean, no unwanted writing on either side.
All together a very nice example of what now is becoming a very hard album to find in it s original UK 1st issue state and with of coarse the poster, which is now near impossible to find.
