Marc Bolan - The Wizard / Beyond The Risin` Sun, original 7" 45 UK issue. This is the first 1965 issue, NOT a later repress: it has a pushout center, the A-side is credited to "Marc Bölan", matrix numbers (stamped) A-side DRF-36707-TI-IC and B-side DRF-36708-TI-IC
Unfortunately the single has not been stored in it's sleeve, it doesn't appear to actually have been played much but side A is heavily scratched due to careless handling & storage. It however sounds much better than one would expect by looking at it, please listen to mp3 samples of the complete actual single here and scroll down for a detailed grading:
Side A - The Wizard :
Side B - Beyond The Risin` Sun:
The single came to me without a sleeve but I'm including an original 1960s Decca sleeve with it, the kind that the single originally came with. No seam splits, some writing in one corner (see scans).
The disc will be shipped in a polylined inner bag.
CONDITION (Record Collector grading, see the end of the listing):
the A-side grades visually as only FAIR, it is heavily scuffed and scratched as it hasn't been kept in it's sleeve and has rubbed against something nasty (please see the scan of side A, the damage is clearly visible on the right). Fortunately as it's a deep grooved 60s mono pressing it plays much much better than it looks, playgrade is VG, please listen to a mp3 sample of the whole actual single side above and do your own grading.
the B-side grades visually as VG with some scuffs and scratches. Playgrade is VG / EX, please listen to a mp3 sample of the whole actual single side above and do your own grading.

I use Record Collector magazine grading system.
I do not grade the cd / dvd / vhs / minidisc etc jewelboxes / cases unless these are special custom ones or have stickers on them. These kind of cases are generic and can be changed, if you would like to have these graded for any item offered please ask in advance of bidding.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as
the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very
little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have
slight wear and/or creasing
VG: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no
major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and
the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or
extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
G: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has
noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine
splits, discoloration, etc.
