This is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the Philips label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE PHILIPS LABEL AND ONE OF DAVID BOWIE S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY SOLD IN MINISCULE AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED FROM THE PHILIPS CATALOG AS A RESULT, IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE, TODAY IF THAT WEREN T INCREDIBLE ENOUGH, THIS LP IS IN IMPECCABLE CONDITION...FOR ONCE JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE PHILIPS LABEL, 1/69 DATE CODED INNER SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL GATEFOLD COVER AND INNER SLEEVE THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DON T MISS THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY This record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.

No is SBL 7912 and is a UK Stereo Pressing there were NO Monos pressed The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition see pictures with NO stickers, NO tears, NO wear apart from a TINY touched in trace around 1 center hole , NO writing, and hardly a few, faint spindle marks to either label The vinyl is in PERFECT condition Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out and almost unplayable.
This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 MEGA light hairlines, NO scuffs, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL LUSTER AND JUST LOOKS IT WAS JUST PRESSED It s also great to find this record plays as STUNNINGLY as its visual with NO pops, NO snaps, a few brief surface sounds on the Side 1 run on groove though these immediately stop as the music begins , barely ANY clicks AT ALL virtually NONE , NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groove wear and NO distortion, either The record must grade Very Good ...if not better BRILLIANT RECORD Believe me, this record is NOT over-graded in ANY way I use STRICT Goldmine grading standards The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 1/69 Date Coded inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition The gatefold sleeve looks AMAZING, as well It contains NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO splits, only some VERY minor evidence of touching in to the VERY edges spine, NO rips, NO tears, only slight corner wear NOT through the color , NO pinholes, only a VERY few light creases cover is VERY flat looking indeed , NO ring wear, only some very VERY slight rubbing to the cover front absolutely MILES better than most , barely ANY rubbing AT ALL to the cover back, NO tape marks, only one, TINY smudge trace, NO annotations, and NO writing The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL Even the inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO pull marks , NO grubbiness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing The cover must grade Very Good if not better THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DON T MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA rare LP in this sort of condition THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING OF DAVID BOWIE BY DAVID BOWIE, IN THIS UNPARALLELED CONDITION Please let me know if you require additional photos, and I ll be happy to accommodate you Ladies and gents, I d like to give a personal shout-out to a wonderful seller and my personal friend, xxxrecords from the UK , who helped me with this wonderful description If you re looking for quality vinyl, please look no further They ve got some WONDERFUL items, and I would recommend you add them to your favorites list.
