EXTREMELY RARE and long out-of-print UK ORIGINAL 1st Pressing 9-track VINYL LP called THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD .
This release is the first pressing and features the controversial dress cover and misprinted record labels.
This first issue has the misspelt Tonny Visconti on the record labels, Mercury corrected this and all later UK Mercury copies state Tony Visconti , see picture.This is a genuine original pressing and has the machine stamped matrices in the A and B side run outs, being Side 1 - Stamped: 6338041 1Y//1 420 and Side 2 - Stamped: 6338041 2Y//1 420.
Tracks are as follows: Side One: 1 - THE WIDTH OF A CIRCLE 2 - ALL THE MADMEN 3 - BLACK COUNTRY ROCK 4 - AFTER ALL Side Two: 1 - RUNNING GUN BLUES 2 - SAVIOUR MACHINE 3 - SHE SHOOK ME COLD 4 - THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD5 - THE SUPERMEN Released in the UK on Mercury Records Cat 6338 041 from 1971.
Record is in excellent condition and sleeve is in very good plus condition with slight ringwear and sleeve edgewear with discolouring to plain inner sleeve.
