TONTON MACOUTE, SELF TITLED VERY RARE FIRST ISSUE UK 1971 RCA/NEON RECORD LABEL LP IN BLACK INNER BAG AND GATE-FOLD SLEEVE, Cat No, NE 4.
Tonton Macoute was a progressive jazz/rock band formed in the UK in 1971 from the remaining 4 musicians of Windmill after the death of lead singer/guitarist Dick Scott in a road accident whilst on tour. Both bands were managed by Ken Howard and Alan Blaikely Matthews Southern Comfort/The Herd/and Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Titch .
Both record labels are in beautiful Near Mint condition. A careful look at the labels reveal hardly any signs of play visible. Both record labels are undamaged, all printed text is unfaded.
Side 1 matrix s AGBS 0519-1 E. and Side 2. AGBS 0520-2 E.
There are some small lettering s that read A M on side 1 and A F on side 2.
Both sides of the heavy quality vinyl LP are in stunning Near Mint condition, the vinyl LP is a beautiful example and the best condition that i have seen to date. When held under strong lighting all that is visible are a few bag removal, very light hairlines, and under normal daylight are not visible.

The LP play s without faults, a superb, clear and sound quality with no skips, clicks or pops, and only very mild background static.
The LP comes in a black inner bag, and is housed in it s original gate-fold picture sleeve, the front and back of the sleeve are in Excellent condition, the front and back panels show only mild handling signs and light rub marks to the edges, there are no seam splits or tears to any part of the sleeve.
The centre part of the sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition.
