Ultra hard to find Westcoast AOR album Min Dr m by Danish CCM artist
Ninette. Released in 1990 on the tiny Indie label Salut Records this features awesome musicianship, a fantastic a
league production and 10 fantastic songs ranging from smooth Westcoast ballads to full blown guitar driven AOR rockers.
The overall sound is much more 80 s than 90 s by the way and very mich reminds me of Charlotte s Free .
And out of the 10 tracks on offer two are sung in English. One of these, Look , is pure guitar driven AOR la
Ranveig Johnsen featuring a killer hookline and prominent backing vocals by Michael Elo DE 5 .
Set Them Free on the other hand is midpaced Westcoast AOR with a restraint but effective chorus and more cool backing vocals. This would have nicely fit on Charlotte s Free album. Kom Of V r Hos Mig sounds like a female version of mid 80 s Edin Adahl while the smooth Westcoast opener Morgenstjernen is a duet with Roland Utbult. Another killer track is Du B r Mig . This hook ladden uptempo track features Hi-Tech keys, cool horn fills and a killer guitar solo by Troels Skovgard. And unlike most CCM albums which often have a ballad tagged at the end, here even the closing En Dag is a cool AOR track features some wicked guitar solos and passionate vocals from Ninette.
