DAVID BOWIE HUNKY DORY THE VERY RARE RCA 1971 ORIGINAL NO MAINMAN / GEM LOGO 1971 RELEASE I am confident that collectors are aware of this albums existence and that this particular copy of Hunky Dory is so HARD TO FIND and VERY RARE they just do not come onto the market perhaps only when there is a blue moon The album is a lovely clean example with RARE details Please compare my details with the pictures shown to tally And confirm for that which I m sharing The main differences for detail between this album and the more available later releases comes from the rear of the sleeve with No GEM PRODUCTION nor MAINMAN credits Dating the album way back to the first release period and shortly before the ALBUMS WITHDRAWAL from sale as it did not catch the public s ear at the time This LAMINATED FRONT sleeve is NOT to be confused with the later reissued laminated sleeve showing only the GEM Production logo to the rear And sometimes confused with being the original This is the TRUE RCA ORIGINAL The original Robert Stace printed sleeve holds itself well NO splits tears or scribbles The spine is strong with very slight wear to the corners There is a forming of some gentle surface ring wear showing to the front laminate From the spine only light creases No major seam wear or discoloration to the rear from it s handling A clean VERY STRONG VERY GOOD The Gem lyric insert has some light creases to be seen The plain liner has some creases to be seen The record NOT CLEANED visually I am happy to place this as being EXCELLENT no marks that need mentioning Only light surface hair line marking to be seen on the play surfaces from inner sleeve Shiny and bright The GLOSS CENTRE LABELS are very clean with no centre spindle tails Resulting is a beautiful clear play quality Clean clear clarity and well defined Only the very gentle patter of stylus on vinyl There is NO groove wear background noise The play is not faultless some odd inherent characteristic vinyl Tick Clicks So a professional cleaning recommendation I am critical for the play quality All the details for this Hunky Dory album are David Bowie Hunky Dory The Very First Original RCA Cat No SF 8244 LSP 4623 RCA Victor Original Year 1971 Matrix Dead Wax Detail Side 1 APRS 5947 3T BOBIL A1E SIDE 2 APRS 5948 3T RASPUTIN A1D To own this copy of HUNKY DORY with NO Gem Production or Mainman logos will be a one shot opportunity Time will roll on for a long period waiting for another blue moon to rise to see another ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING Any further questions I will happily do my best to answer Thank You for taking the time in viewing
