Meine LP-Sammlung wurde durch berschwemmung zum gro en Teil vernichtet
Die angebotene LP konnte ich zum Gl ck noch retten - allerdings wurde das Cover durch das Wasser besch digt:
Die LP selber wurde mit einer Plattenwaschmaschine r ckstandslos ges ubert.Das Cover wurde so gut es ging getrocknet, der Schlamm hat aber Spuren hinterlassen und das Cover ist stark wellig

My record-collection was largely destroyed through flooding. This offered LP was saved , but the cover was damaged by the water

The LP itself was cleaned up without residue with a record-washing-machine. The cover was dried, but marks of mud are visible. The cover is strongly warped.

I remember the Wizard from back in the day, when he could be found performing in Washington Square park or at the Cafe Wha?. A fixture of the West Village scene, his unique blend of twelve string folk and post Elvis ballads are a mirror of those times. A CBS recording artist in the early 60 s, he became one of the original home recording pioneers, managing to create a highly layered multitrack sound using the most primitivce of equipment. This is not a highly produced commercially slick studio album. It is an American original, a historical document of a special time and place when anything was possible.
