DAVID BOWIE A: Memory Of A Free Festival part 1 B: Memory Of A Free Festival part 2 MERCURY 6052026, NORWAY HOLY GRAIL TIME Here you have the impossibly rare original Norway release of the Memory Of A Free Festival 45 on Mercury from 1970.
Very few are known to exist and seldom come up for sale.
Those of you who have tried to find this 45 know what I m talking about, it is one of the absolute rarest worldwide releases by David Bowie.
This is the first copy of this 45 that I have ever had, I have actually never even seen another copy in the flesh .
Both the sleeve and the 45 are made in Norway.
About the condition: The sleeve has got some minor shelf wear around the edges but NO seam splits.
It has got a tiny 1 cm tear at top and a sticker removal mark on the front - see pictures Also some ringwear on the back of the sleeve.
The sleeve has obviously got some minor imperfections, but overall the sleeve looks lovely The vinyl is in SUPERB condition, under bright light you can see some very light hairlines from the disc being removed from its sleeve , but they really are minor and it plays fantastic.
The a-side label has got Aug 70 faintly written in pencil.
