Ultra rare 1st press in white textured cover on DECCA ffss SLPDP 5016 from 1974 including 2 NEVER SEEN and NEVER OFFERED BEFORE Promotional Sheets from the local promoter Valentim de Carvalho.Condition: The white surface of the cover is in general better shape than usual: Some yellowing but few surface spots, a discreet ringwear mark, and a mark on the left side of the front panel and right side of back panel, caused by the staples that were originally on the promotional sheets inside the cover.
Afer more than 40 years these staples rusted a bit on this spot so as a result there is what looks like surface wear as if a very fine layer of the texture was missing on this spot but no actual tear.
The back is just creased and could possibly be improved with a professional restoration job.Both promotional sheets have a browning area in the top corner where the staple rusted.Vinyl is very clean with only a few very superficial hairlines that can be seen when you tilt the record under direct light.A very clean vinyl that plays nice : though this pressing isn t the best there is only light bg noise at the beginning of each side and the ocasional clicks mostly between tracks or on silent passages.
Seriously hard to upgrade and a one-off chance to grab this complete set.
