Thank you for looking at my item.
Here on offer is one of Australia s and for that matter, the world s rarest and most sought after progressive / psych gems.
McPhee s self titled album released in 1971 on the obscure Violets Holiday label SVHL -934391 is regarded by many as Australia s best heavy psych album. Virtually impossible to find, I understand that sadly only 500 copies were issued.
McPhee were a Sydney band that only released this album. One of the features of this album is the band s ability to create this heavy psych feel and the soaring Hammond organ sound created by Jim Deverell is a real stand out.
Condition - Cover - Some scuffing and tears on the front cover .
Back cover has some ring wear. The corners are tatty or torn. Seam wear on bottom. GOOD .
Vinyl - A few marks and light scratches. The opening tracks on both sides have some noise which is a nuisance but the music still sounds good. On I am the walrus there are some clicks due to the deepest scratch on the album. Fortunately there were no jumps or repeats on my sound systems. Most of the other songs play close to VG. Over all - GOOD
In all a satisfactory copy of this impossible to find Australian progressive psych gem
