VINYL: VG This record is visually and audibly excellent but is graded down slightly due to a mild warp that, apart from the lead-ins to both sides and between the first and second tracks of each side, does not effect the audio at all. During the lead-ins to both sides there is some crackle that corresponds to the warp which is not apparent during music. Between 1st and 2nd songs on each side there is a low audible sound as well. During the actual songs you would not know there is was a warp at all and plays with only ever some light background crackle between songs and sometimes during quieter bits. This is an overall excellent sounding record and a truly enjoyable listen from start to finish. Only the lightest hairlines can be seen when viewed under strong light. It was part of my collection until I was fortunate enough recently to find an upgrade, a copy with similar a quality of audio but without the warp. As mentioned, this warp is to all purposes an aesthetic issue only. Fully play tested.
