About This Record. This is an original copy of The Mc5 s first LP with the Red Big E label in gatefold format with the uncensored lyrics on the vinyl mother fers , and the uncensored lyrics in the gatefold cover John Sinclair s banned lyrics existed until all the later copies deleted the lyrics from the inside of the gatefold cover. I think the Donald Administration has been trying to delete all known audio and video references to this LP because the Mc5 played at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. But we all know what happened after that Anyways, Nice keeper copy. Simply impossible to find. As a bonus, I will add a PHOTO-Copy of the original 5 x 7 black white photocopy 5 x 7 press kit photo of the band wear nothing . . . but don t get your hopes up as their crossed arms obscure their belly-buttons and the press photo ends there, Please see my other rare records for sale.

Cover Condition: Excellent Minus EX- Nice Gatefold cover copy with banned and censored lyrics written by John Sinclair still intact on the inside of the gatefold cover no seam splits no spine splits, but shelf wear and seam rubs near opening edge and corners of the gatefold cover. Very Close to Excellent EX condition, but I grade conservatively. See my other RARE and impossible to find Mc5 vinyl for sale. And, Please See all the Photos I took. I didn t take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: Excellent EX vinyl. The vinyl looks strong EX much better and plays EX. No problems other than those that were on this original pressing. TOP Keeper copy.

Inserts: Comes with a photocopy of the original 5 7 press kit photo that came with the original promo package original not included, only a photo copy for your amusement , and the brown/white Elektra Records factory paper inner sleeve with some splits and wear , and no worries a new white plain paper inner sleeve so the dust does not reattach.
Packaging. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating Do Not Bend and/or Fragile or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
