As the title says. Mega rare Australian LP pressed on the JAM label from Gosford. Carlton were a band from Cowra in the central west of NSW and developed a solid reputation in the early to mid 70 s as a live outfit which led them to cutting this LP. Very hard to find too- for whatever reason it never sold well which is a shame as tracks like Come On Over show a hard rock/krautrock edge to rival the best bands around at the time. Pretty much most of side one is terrific. The lead singer sounds similar to Jack Bruce in places, and the musicianship is tight. They knew what they were doing when they made this but sadly this appears to be the only reason from the band. The songs slow down a little on side 2 but it s still good at worst.
The cover has some laminate bubbling, ring wear and general wear. Graded VG to VG , the record plays VG to VG with some light noise and crackle throughout but is somewhat inaudible over the music. There appears very little marking on the vinyl which leads me to believe a clean may do a world of good here and this may grade up better. The labels barely have a spindle mark and I doubt it has been played much. Could be an EX copy with a little work perhaps?
Get it while you can as it pretty much never shows up for sale in any condition
