The Ill Wind: Flashes 1968, USA/ABC Records ABCS-641. Disc is M-, a beautiful example with no apparent spindle marks on the labels. Bell Sound stamp in the trail-off. The cover is still in its original shrink wrap though the plastic has a few tears the corner tips show some rubbing, still in amazing EX to M- shape and it has no cut-out mark Has the Company inner sleeve as issued. TOP COPY of this Boston band s excellent psych LP, long a collector fave. They were pretty trippy but had some commercial leanings and an engaging female lead singer so it s a bit surprising that they didn t make much headway outside New England. The LP was engineered by Gary Kellgren, who had already worked with Frank Zappa The Mothers, The Velvet Underground, and Jimi Hendrix. I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.
