Item Description

isnw ecpPLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE CORRECT INVOICE FROM ME, ITEMS OVER 20.00 WILL REQUIRE REGISTERED POST This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK ERIC CLAPTON 1969 / 1970 DOUBLE SIDED APPLE ACETATE ALBUM WITH AN UNRELEASED VERSIONS FOR HIS FIRST SOLO ALBUM This DOUBLE SIDED APPLE ACETATE ALBUM contains totally different versions of tracks for the first solo album by ERIC CLAPTON, the instrumentaion and arrangements are totally different AND YOU CAN EVEN HEAR ERIC CLAPTON TALKING BETWEEN TRACKS and the band tunning their instruments and jamming between the tracks.
THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPERTUNITY TO BUY AN ORIGINAL UNRELEASED 1969 / 1970 APPLE ACETATE ALBUM by ERIC CLAPTON The story goes that in 1969 ERIC CLAPTON went into OLYPIC STUDIOS IN LONDON to record tracks for his first solo album, some tracks were recorded and this could be the result of these session recordings and the ACETATE WAS THEN cut at APPLE STUDIOS in SAVILE ROW, LONDON W1.
In the end ERIC CLAPTON went to the US in 1970 and recorded the whole album there with Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett.
I have added some sound clips from the tracks, and the gaps inbetween the tracks so you can hear how different and raw these tracks are on this APPLE ACETATE, and also some clips of the chat and jamming inbetween the tracks I was just lifting the turntable arm and droping it inbetween tracks, so that is what you will hear on the sound samples For example have a listen to the ACETATE VERSION OF SLUNKY the album openening track it is completely different and does not have the loud sax included on the finished version and is much rawer and faster Another version could be that after recording the album in the US in 1970 Eric Clapton was waiting in LONDON for the finished mix from Delaney, during that time he did a mix of the album himself in his own words he described it as an unsuccessful mix , and this could be the result of that mix.
This is a real discovery that came from a person associated with ERIC CLAPTON at the time The condition of the ACETATE is VG/VG but the sound is much better as you can hear from the clips, with the odd crackle as can be expected from a 45 years old acetate.
