WOW WOW WOW ULTRA MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND RCA Records very first Mono press released by RCA Records, made and distributed in Chile in 1957 by Corporaci n De Radio De Chile, S.A. CRC Records , catalog number CME-123, with machine etched matrix numbers CME/123/A in Side A and A CME/123/B in Side B, with black/silver RCA Records labels, with silver RCA Victor and dog . Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile Amazing rarity for all early rock n roll lovers, fans and collectors of Elvis Presley, this is the RAREST EP of Elvis Presley released here in Chile and it s considered one of the rarest Elvis Presley releases worldwide
The first to tell about this MEGARARE EP is that it was ONLY RELEASED IN CHILE and with an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE. The second to tell is that two different picture sleeves are known and documented for this Chilean EP but it s really impossible to know which of them appeared first or if they both appeared in the same time. As you can see this is the Picture Sleeve with the Teddy Bear with guitar in front cover, sure one of the nicest designs known for some record of Elvis Presley, with the tracklist written in English only and the additional information that songs are from the film El Idolo Del Rock Roll The Idol Of Rock Roll , the title used in Chile for the 1957 movie Loving You . In back cover you can see a list of other 9 RCA Victor Extended Play records suggested, listed under the styles Tropical, North American, Italian and Modern Jazz. In labels the tracklist is written in Spanish, translated to English except for Hot Dog , song which s misspelled HOT DOG in front cover , with full credits for songwriters and the mention to the film where the songs come from, with the price, 1.100, informed in Side A. The price is very important in this EP to can identify which copy was pressed first because 1.100 is the very first price, I ve seen this EP also repriced from 1.200 to 1.500, those copies are later pressings, not the first run. In this copy you can also notice that paper of label in Side B is different, it s more opaque and not so soft like the paper in Side A. So, here you have the chance to own this UNIQUE EP of Elvis Presley, ONLY RELEASED IN CHILE with UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE and the most important, the authentic very first press with Teddy Bear with guitar in front cover WOW A MUST TO HAVE
The cover was already described and it s in great VG or VG condition, clear and clean, with moderate wear, more evident at the top edge the mouth and corners, with creases and little rips, light age browning, soft ring marks, some faint blemishes and two writings in back cover, with a 5cm seam split at the bottom edge, which doesn t affect the nice look of this cover. The record is in great VG- or VG condition both sides, glossy and clean, with many scuffs, soft hairlines and light scratches, which don t affect play. Labels on both sides are in great VG- or VG condition, clean and clear, with some spindle hole wear, a tear in Side A which was covered with black pen for some past owner and some text of the rim fading in Side B. The sound is in strong VG or VG condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, with a light background noise surface noise is normal in records from Chile , with very soft constant crackles, which don t really cause major distraction from the experience to listen and enjoy this record from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE PRESS only released here in Chile, this is the RAREST EP of Elvis Presley WITH PICTURE SLEEVE released in Chile, sure this copy is not for Minty minds or audiophiles, but it still keeps a great sound quality after almost 60 years which will satisfy any serious collector who knows the level of rarity this EP is and the Picture Sleeve with the Teddy Bear playing a guitar is also in a very nice condition And don t forget this EP was RELEASED ONLY IN CHILE and it also has an UNIQUE PICTURE SLEEVE Yes, Sirs, what a FIND Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. We don t use the generic VG most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or NM or Mint for records which aren t even clean and sound less than a normal VG in professional standards. We use the Record Collector s Grading System with a little modification: we don t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a or to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT M : I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT NM : The record itself is in like
new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality only
some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the
sleeve . The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or
poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT EX : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there
is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which
doesn t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or
creasing.
VERY GOOD VG : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays
no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and
the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra
items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD G : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has
noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The
cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits,
discoloration, etc.
FAIR F : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for
properly and displays considerable surface noise it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR P : The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface
noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD B : The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
