Fresh Maggots Fresh Maggots - 1st UK vinyl LP album LP record
RCA Victor SF8205
The matrices: AGBS 0582-1E / AGBS 0583-1E
Extremely rare 1971 first UK issue 11-track stereo vinyl LP. Fresh Maggots were just two teenagers, Mick Burgoyne Leigh Dolphin, who played melodic acid folk-rock. The album features some beautiful harmonies, including the whimsical Rosemary Hill pastoral And When She Laughs , with electric fuzz guitar kicking in at various points to startling effect, housed in a front laminated picture sleeve designed by the legendary Keef.

Sleeve
The front of the sleeve has retained its rich vivid imagery, there is a small area of discolouration to the top left corner. The spine is clearly legible the back panel has faded a little and shows some ringwear. This remains a very respectable VG / VG grade example.
Vinyl
The labels are clean and bright, with no writing or other blemishes. The vinyl shows obvious surface hairlines, scratches scuffs on both sides, but plays through without major fault, although there is some background crackle on some tracks and the odd pop click can be heard at times, but plays through surprisingly well given the visual condition. Grades as G / VG.
