RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON
THIS LP THOUGH THIS LP SOLD POORLY, IT WAS AVAILABLE ON THE CBS LABEL UNTIL LATE 1970. THIS IS SHOWN BY MANY CBS COMPILATION LPs OF THE TIME - WHERE IT IS ADVERTISED FOR PURCHASE INSIDE NOT ONLY THAT - BUT WITH THE HUGE SUCCESS OF TIME OF THE SEASON IN 1969 OVER ONE YEAR AFTER THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED , MOST COPIES WERE PURCHASED IN 1969 AND NOT 1968 - AND ARE CLEARLY LATER PRESSINGS FIRST EXAMPLE ANY COPIES WITH GOLD STEREO STICKERS DATE FROM 1969 AND NOT 1968 AND WERE MADE 1 YEAR AFTER RELEASE AND ANY COPIES WITH SMOOTH LABELS WERE AGAIN MADE IN LATE 1969/EARLY 1970 - AND NOT 1968 AND THIS IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT WITH STEREO PRESSINGS OF THIS LP BECAUSE WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1968 - MONOs WERE STILL MASSIVELY OUT SELLING STEREOs. The record labels are in SUPERB condition see pictures with NO writing, NO wear apart from a TINY touch around the centre holes , NO tears, NO stickers, and only some spindle marks to either label The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, only 2 or 3 TINY surface marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either The record must grade Very Good if not better BRILLIANT RECORD Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to Brillant The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press CBS advertising inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition The ORIGINAL 1st Press E.J.Day Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition It has NO splits, NO edge wear apart from some almost INVISIBLE touching in traces to the bottom edge , NO edge splits, NO spine splits, barely ANY spinal wear, NO pinholes, only slight corner wear NOT through the colour , VERY shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, a few creases though these are main confined to the VERY edges - and the cover is VERY flat looking , NO annotations, and NO writing The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL Even the unlaminated cover back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, a TINY residue trace on the opening edge NOT yellowed and VERY small indeed , NO tape marks, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL apart from a TINY touch towards the VERY top , and NO writing The cover must grade Very Good PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed if not better - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS ESPECIALLY AS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY
