Italian Library grail Psychedelic mood music led by the cult pianist and arranger with crack studio session players, rumoured to be I Marc 4. This is one of the more elusive recordings from the legendary Viaggio Attraverso I Problemi Dell Uomo series by the Roman Record Company. Issued for Industrial use inbetween Mazza s Spazio and Santucci Scoppa s Traffico Library. Desirable item as it features 2 of the absolute hottest themes from the Italian Library genre with funky bboy drums similar to Sospesi Nel Traffico from his La Citta N.2 Library on Fly. Punishing rhythms on SWIMMING POOL and APPROCCI with the latter having a similar psych mood / male scat voices and lo-fi fuzz guitar distortions as the Bruno Zambrini - Racconti Di Mare OST Lp. Both these themes along with the fender rhodes Brazilian jazz of INVITO A CENA were comped by Black Cat of Sonorissima series infamy for their influential Italian Bossa - Beat Party selection. Several other important themes on Tempo Libero too... the little known PONTILE is yet another fabulous bossa / GITA IN BIANCO has a cinematic, ghostly beauty / PRIMA DELLA PARTENZA and FUORI DAI PIEDI are groovy lounge themes with exotic congas / flute / pressed piano and hammond that showcase the sophisticated hippie cum prog pop sound of Mazza. The ALLEGRIA theme is also funky but more playful with a late 60s mod inspired tempo. Vinyl is in shiny, VG condition overall regardless of any hairlines / light scuffs or old pressing marks. Booming production sound. Light surface noises. Some pops / ticks in places as you can hear on our soundclip but the actual pressing is not Cinevox quality, in general. The psychedelic pop art soft card sleeve is in VG condition with the usual general wear and storage blemishes this Library series always seems to have. Mint or M- just does not exist no matter what others may tell you . Corner wear - edge wear - card deterioration and creasing, especially to the area around the bottom left spine side corner see photo / some other creasing from storage / old dirt marks / rub marks / a couple of mini stains cum blemishes to the surface of the front sleeve. Quite clean overall regardless. Some ring creasing / ring dirt marks and natural age discoloration to back sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp umiliani
