The music loving gentleman from whose estate I purchased the collection worked in a record shop in the English Midlands in the 1950 s and 1960 s and, being of private means, took his salary in records.
Often from stock, with therefore no browser creases, he sleeved the discs, played them carefully once or twice, if at all, and shelved them.
They are mostly in remarkably good condition in their original inner sleeves with no inscriptions.
