RECORDS IN EXISTENCE !!!!!!
This is an original UNITED KINGDOM first pressing of by PIECES OF ME by the
SUPERB LINDA HOYLE .This FIRST pressing is from 1971 and comes on the
magnificent SPIRAL VERTIGO record label. As you all know and without any doubt
SPIRAL VERTIGO is the most collectible record label in the world.
And of ALL the most seriously rare SPIRAL VERTIGO records that there is.
Few of them come rarer than this one ! And fewer still come along in the sort
of condition we have here.
The outside of this magnificent none laminated jacket is in a strong EXCELLENT
condition with the smallest amount of ware . Double click the pictures and have a look
at the beautiful vibrant colours to the front and back with no fading at all. The corners
are still very sharp with the tinyest corner dings to the bottom right that I am only
mentioning to be ultra critical. The spine of the sleeve is totally immaculate and damage
free and although it may not show up in the pictures due to the very light typeset that VERTIGO
used ALL the spinal writing can be read clearly ! The inside of the gate fold is in STUNNING
condition. No fading anywhere. This Vertigo rarity has been SUPERBLY cared for over the
last 47 years. The ORIGINAL BLACK Vertigo inner sleeve is in equally STUNNING condition
and the cellophane is STILL fully attached.
Side ONE of this heavy slab of 70s wax is beautiful . The label shows no spindle marks
and the luster of the vinyl under a normal light is incredible. Only under a spotlight you can
see the very lightest hairlines that records get when they are being removed from their
inner sleeves but nothing, NOTHING that hinders the playback of this rare gem.
Side two is just as spectacular. Whoever owned this beauty in the past knew how to look after
a record or simply never played it much at all ! Again you have to look very closely to find
the very lightest of hairlines possible and again Side two this vinyl shimmers like mirror
when it is tilted in the light. This great record plays all the way through from start to finish
on both sides with no problems at all . No skips sticking or jumps no bad hissing and nothing
that spoils the play back it plays SUPERBLY !!!
This record is in truly beautiful condition. I have owned 6 copies
of this rarity over the last 40 years and I have only seen one copy better condition
than this one and that sold for an eye watering 쎂슣3600 a few years ago here on eBay.
So as copies of this SERIOUS VERTIGO RARITY go this one has to be up there with
the best of them ! Chances to own this cracker are hideously few and far between.
In condition like this fewer still . I think it is very fair to say that you would have your
hands seriously full to find a better copy ! So a chance for holders of this great LP
to grade up and sell your own !
ALL of the SPIRAL VERTIGO records are getting harder and harder to find as the years
fly by.

All my records are housed in Mobile Fidelity Mastering Sleeves.
This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing
the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition
of the original inner sleeve .
An interested bidder has asked has the sleeve been renovated or "touched in" by black ink.I thought this was a printing fault due to an old edition of record collector that I have that values this sleeve at 쎂슣350 (its an old edition) sating the value and then in brackets it says(printing error on sleeve) . However ive had a magnifying glass on this and I think it has been.So please all interested parties please take time and double click the pictures look to the very top of the outside of the sleeve near the very top. Then the inside the sleeve near the very top.Now due to this i must down grade the sleeve from my original listing from a STRONG EXCELLENT.To an EXCELLENT MINUS.To me it is still a magnificent conditioned sleeve. Now it depends on what YOU think .Does a repair job done well enhance or devalue an item.
