I have been collecting audiophile records for over 40 years and test pressings for over 30 years. During this time I have assembled a collection of many hundreds of test pressings. If there is anything in particular that you are looking for; just contact me and I might have it. *************************** This is a super rare Test Pressing of the Half Speed Mastered Mobile Fidelity LP titled "Simple Things" by Carole King (Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs MFSL 1-046) (1981) (Stamper A1 / B1) This was a title that Mobile Fidelity considered doing, but it was never released !!! This was usually due to some kind of contract issue. It's really a shame too because it's a great sounding album. Unusually punchy for one of her albums. There were literally only a handful of these made (probably 5-10). ***** The record is beautiful with a bright and shinney lustre and no marks or scratches. Under intense light some faint traces of hairline dust scratches can be seen. There are no spindle marks on the labels. The original inner sleeve is included. It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 27 Typhoon record cleaning machine, and then again on a KL Audio record cleaning machine. The photos are of the actual item for sale.
