This is a very rare, authentic and original Dick James Music Limited, Northern Songs 7 One Sided Acetate for the song In My Life which was a track from the 1965 Rubber Soul album.
Recording commenced for In My Life at 10.30-11.30 on the 22nd October 1965 at Abbey Road Studio 2 and the album was finally released in the UK on the 3rd December 1965.
The Acetate play surface is in Very Good condition and displays surface scratches and surface hairlines.
On playback the sound was very clear from beginning to end with background crackle throughout the duration of the track which is common with Acetates, and also I heard a click at the start of the song, and as far as I can tell the song is the released version.
I would confidently grade the playback 6/10 This is a true authentic and original Beatles rarity and is sure to increase in value over the coming years.
