Catalogue No.
PMC 1202.This is a first issue of The Beatles UK Debut Album release, Please Please Me on the Black Gold Parlophone Record Labels first released on the 22nd March 1963 with the 1st Issue Dick James Song Credits.

Side 2 XEX 422-1N 1 2 G O.
There is an embossed MT Luxury Goods Tax Code on the centre of side one record label.
The LP plays with amazing sound quality, without faults through all tracks, there were no pops, no clicks, no skips, no background noise and stunningly silent between tracks, a confident 9/10 for play quality.RECORD LABELS.Both record labels are in Near Mint condition, super clean record labels to both sides.
There is an embossed MT Tax Code on the centre of the side 1 record label.
MT Tax Coding for luxury goods was introduced on the 1st January 1963 and then changed to KT on the 1st July 1963.
VINYL SURFACES.
Side 1 of the LP shows polythene bag rash which was caused by a chemical reaction between the polythene liner inside the bag and the LP surface, strangely this bag rash has only occurred on side 1 of the LP, but beneath the bag rash there is a Near Mint vinyl surface.
After speaking to a couple of serious vinyl collectors their opinion was as described above, some sort of chemical reaction from the polythene inner bag, and one of he collectors has an original 1964 A Hard Day s Night LP with the same bag rash.
I would like to point out that the play quality is NOT affected by this bag rash.
I have tried to take an image of side 1 but it is difficult to see the bag rash unless you look very carefully at the scan provided.
PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE BAG RASH DESCRIPTION ABOVE Side 2 of the LP is in immaculate Near Mint condition, no bag rash at all on this side just a stunning vinyl LP surface.
THE PICTURE SLEEVE.
The correct E.J.
Day picture sleeve has a glossy Excellent Plus front panel with a corner bump bottom right, and a small crease top right, and an Excellent condition back panel with a small crease on the flip-back top left and light handling signs, both the top and bottom edges and spine edge are perfect.
