An unusual item, this is listed on discogs, I recently changed it s status to unofficial , details below:
Having previously tried to sell this record it s authenticity came into question. It has since been looked at by an experienced Ramones collector, several printers the labels particularly , several record merchants and an auctioneer. My conclusion from all these views and my own detailed examination of it is that it is at best, a facsimile copy of an actual genuine official Ramones acetate from Italy, at worst an out and out forgery. The labels give it away, essentially they are completely smooth and very close inspection reveals evidence of modern printing methods, the writing and stamps are printed on along with everything else. I have therefore decided to auction it for charity.
So Ramones fans, the question is what s it worth?
I package record outside sleeve, both in protective covers, in sturdy cruciform mailers.
