Item Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.
OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries Italy, Russia, France, in particular has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.
We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

ULTRA RARE
1974 MYSTERIOUS LOST WEARY FOLK PSYCH
EARLY NEIL YOUNG MEETS SHADRACK CHAMELEON

CHARLIE EARNST

A QUESTION OF FAITH
.. / ............................................... / ..
USA - PRIVATE PRESS Waltersdorf Records - STEREO
ULTRA RARE ...pretty much nowhere to be found....
M- TOP CLEAN ....Original 1974 first pressing micro-pressed vinyl ...
Not many copies EVER turned up, an album for more than a few psych head collectors to get excited about ...
Figure if the ACID ARCHIVES bible gives a 3 star rarity rating, the Ultra Rare tag is fairly applied...and then something has got to be brewing within If collectors are willing to PAY multi hundred figures to get their hands on this Lp
From mid state Pennsylvania, Charlie Earnst was in 60 s garage rock bands, and applied the style to this loner folk masterpiece, released in 1974, Charlie plays all instruments except drums ...
Long ago ONLY a few copies were turned up through Charlie, and those forever gone into the private music library vaults of collectors...Rated by those in-the-know as one of the best discoveries in recent years, the strongest tracks on this album are top-level, early Neil Young-influenced rock a la Shadrack Chameleon.
The opening 8-minute epic is an particularly amazing slice of the best style of early Neil Young meets Shadrack Chameleon with its super infectious hook being exactly what collectors hope for. The tunes that follow on both sides are of similar structures, and with further plays not just glossing over for an Acid Archives review grow extremely enjoyable with each spin... songs that drove us in to want to keep playing this gem...

Charlie Earnst s music at times suggest his mysterious lost weary vibes crossed with gentle folk/psych moves backed by rhythm and lead acoustic guitars, electric bass and drums, with moods that shift from quiet wispy passages to dramatic rock buildups. Charlie does lead and self harmony vocals that have a suitable flavor to the music. The remaining tracks have the same cutting edge as the monster lead off track, but as mentioned above, need only be played a few times to suck the listener in: What Is , Ode To Those Left Behind , the ballad There s A Reason and Come To Jesus , the latter adding dreamy flute accompaniment to the mix. That s it - just five songs with an elapsed time of close to 30 minutes total, but given the high quality of the music, collectors are hard pressed to complain.
All titles written by Charlie with no keyboards or no other additives.
Back cover describes his pre-Christian background in several rock groups where he preached empty messages of dope, free love and meaningless life .
A Homemade endeavor from Spring Grove, Pennsylvania.
