Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band , very scarce Supercut copy, 1 of 500 , pressed by Nimbus Records and only available by mail order from UK magazine Hi-Fi today in 1983.
This copy is absolutely superb, it has been played just two or three times in the last thirty years, the vinyl is visually near mint and plays absolutely perfectly.
It is also a fantastic pressing and sounds great.
I have added two sound clips which even though they are mp3s should convey something of the quality, other than downsampling they have not been processed in any way.
The labels are excellent although there is a single faint spindle mark on side 2.
The matrices are: YEX 637-A1 ? ??? 3 MPT V JH Nimbus England YEX 638-B2 ? ??? 3 MPT V JH Nimbus England The question marks are characters I couldn t read.
The sleeve hasn t faored as well as the vinyl, thirty years on a shelf have left it with a few little nicks to the front cover whilst the rear has a small ring mark and slight fading along the spine.
Having said that I believe the sleeve is identical to that of the contemporary EMI issue other than the sticker so it may be possible to swap sleeves and transfer the sticker if you so wish thereby getting a perfect copy.
The sticker itself is in excellent condition.
The record comes with the insert although I can t remember if it actually did when new or I just added one either way you get it.
