This was released in error omitting the text E.M.I.
Recording on the label, so a second version The Beatles was promptly released with the corrected labels.

Under a brighter light each side has ONLY one or two NON FEELABLE AND VERY LIGHT hairlines that do come into view, but none are feelable or are below the surface, with all appearing to be superficial only.
No effect on playback whatsoever But again I should stress that there is nothing that is feelable and nothing that is obviously below the surface.
nothing intrusive and certainly nothing to diminish the overall impressive audio quality.
Really nice condition over all 4 sides Clearly each vinyl has been played BUT SPARINGLY this is evident by the fact each label shows only feint spindle lines to the centre, certainly not overplayed at all in 52 years.
Superb The Centre Labels are Excellent .
Wonderfully impressive labels with all text, all colouring, and the iconic dark green not lighter green as on subsequent non-first press releases APPLE logo with black writing upon the smooth white background all remaining in great condition with some faint spindle trails on each label.
Again, note the absence of any reference to An EMI Recording on any of the labels - an indicator of a very early UK 1st pressing.
The condition of the Laminated Outer Gatefold Sleeve is VG to ExcellentA NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY LOW NUMBERED 0005912 SLEEVE Only a couple of very small marks above THE BEATLES on the front Which may clean off ? but I will leave you to decide, see pics but no unwanted writing or doodles anywhere, and no cardboard creasing either.
The top opening edges are firm with minimal fraying ,the spine is fully intact The BEATLES remains beautifully embossed upon the front cover, and the interior flip-backs remain in great shape.
The whole gatefold has a lovely glossy feel and sheen about it and remains presentable - obviously not perfect, but very acceptable condition overall.
One of the better White Album sleeves I have seen and would possibly improve with a professional clean ?Finally, the Quality of the MONO Audio is EXCELLENT.
There is great tone and clarity throughout even at higher volume and frequencies.
There are no jumps, repeats, skips or obvious clicking and background crackle is at an absolute minimum on disc 1 sides 1 and 2 maybe a tiny bit on Dear Prudence , and a little more noticeable on disc 2 sides 3 and 4 where some light background interference can be heard during some of the interludes and quieter moments Helter Skelter , and the intro to Long, Long, Long , for example .
I must stress though, that despite these relatively minor glitches, the sound quality and listening experience remains impressive overall.
A professional clean, which I don t have access to during the Lock Down unfortunately, may well eliminate any background crackle and promote the audio experience to a Near Mint grading but being honest it is very minimal and only between a few tracks, once music kicks in it is not evident.
A super Audio experience The tracks are :Side 1 :1.
