Item Description
You re looking at an original import copy of Trident Records1004, which has been in my personal possession since its release in 1973.
I found it in the import bin of the Times Square King Karol store in Manhattan NYC in mid-winter.
It was handled frequently but carefully as one of my favorites in the 70 s, and has been archived untouched for many years.
Authenticity is proven by the typo that only appeared on the very earliest shipment of the first pressing: The record is identified as TRN 1004 on the spine of the jacket, and as Tri.1004 on the disc label.
For later shipments to USA in 1974, this was corrected by application of a paper label on the spine.
Here we also have the Italian tax-stamp found on all legal LPs from the time.
On ebay sold listings recently, a copy of this original blue Trident sold for more than 1,000 near mint.
Now here s my played but well cared-for copy Disc has been put into a more modern inner sleeve, but I ll include the original Italian one too.
