AARDVARK - AARDVARK - VINYL LPDERAM NOVA SERIES - SDN 17 - STEREO - 1970 - UK 1ST PRESS P-1W/P-1W MATRIX 1st UK press stereo copy of this amazing 1970 rarity on the Deram Nova label - 8 tracks of heavy organ-led prog psych - see photo for full tracklisting see my other items for more psych/prog LPs CONDITION vinyl/cover EX a lovely copy with the bright clean labels showing hardly any sign of play - each label shows just a couple of small spindle-lines in normal daylight conditions the disc surfaces look shiny, mirror-like and unmarked, and under strong angled lamplight they show just some light storage wear and faint paper scuffs/hairlines from sleeve removal there are no significant marks or scratches the disc sits perfectly flat on the turntable I played the album in full and can confirm it plays great throughout with generally clean, clear, near perfect audio and very little unwanted surface noise - in the final track on side 1 there is just a touch of top-end sound deterioration on the vocal a handful of random dull surface noises in the background of the loud ending, and there are about a dozen light background ticks during the psychedelic breakdown in track 1 side 2 - but these moments do not spoil or overpower the music and otherwise the audio grades near mint / EX- the front laminated sleeve is in very nice solid condition with flat surfaces and light storage wear only the laminate is glossy and bright with just a couple of minor creases at the corners and a bit of laminate lift along spine the pinched-end spine is in EX condition with no wear or splits and just one or two tiny creases the paper rear has some light storage wear and corner creasing the sleeve has no major defects, no writing or splits and overall is a great example which is very close to EX Original poly-lined blue/white stereo sleeve with release date code 3-70 i.e.
March 1970 in EX condition with no splits, writing or significant creases.
