Item Description

Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don t miss out.
My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950 s to early 2000 s, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.
You can expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.

Beatles - Please Please Me - Gold Black Labels - Mono - Earliest Gold Black 1st Issue with Dick James Credits UK Pressing - Extremely Rare LP Earliest Gold Sleeve

1st pressing which has Dick James Songs Credits On Labels, This is the rarest pressing, these 1st Pressings are becoming harder and harder to find.

Side 1: XEX 421 - 1N

Side 2: XEX 422 - 1N

Both Sides have lots of whispy marks and scratches under strong artificial light. Sold as a used LP, a collection filler. NO Returns. Playtested Below

PLAYTESTED and the audio is strong and vibrant, no deterioration in sound quality, No Jumps, sticks or skips and it lays flat on the turntable. Light static throughout more noticable in the quiet parts and some clicks, most don t overpower the music, last couple of tracks on side 1 have more noticable static/clicks as do parts of side 2, this has not been cleaned but has been stored for 40 years so will benefit from a proper clean which I will let the new owner do/consider. Sold as a Used LP, a collection filler that plays all the way through with strong audio.

Labels both have signs of play spiders legs under strong light, Both labels are clean and free from the usual writing etc, a few small white marks from wear...see photos
Original Front laminated Flipback Earliest and rarest Ernest J Day Sleeve has wear. The front of sleeve shows hardly any rubbing, still has some shine, there are a few creases from edges and a couple near top and bottom right corner. Corners are worn. Light patchy wear to top edge and bottom edge. Some handling wear/discolouration to opening edge. The Back of sleeve is clean and still quite white with wear, creases and damage to flipbacks which are also a bit grubby, bottom flipback has clear tape all the way along. Spine is solid and still fully readable with a handful of tiny creases running through....see photos...This is a Nice used Sleeve.
The original Poly Lined Inner is clean with some creasing, there is a split down one side and tiny split on bottom edge, discoloured and wear to opening edge.
A Holy Grail LP In Used Condition as stated above. No returns on this record.
