This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was Saturday Night fever

143g/143g
The vinyl has just light marks to her.
After playing her ALL THE WAY through, I found minimal, light background pop n crackle noise-evident on the run-ins of each disc and inbetween tracks.
NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
I noticed a revolutionary light pop at the start of Mother Natures Sun, as well as some light crackle at the start of Revolution 9 Again, nothing terrible at all.
A simple joy to listen to.
Simply wonderfully clear playback
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN
TURN HER UP-I DID
The labels:
VG .
All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Just light but quite a few spindle marks to each label, visible when angled towards the light...Remains Lovely
Minimal hole wear.
Mfd in the U.K. to each of the labels.
NOW HERE S THE REALLY QUITE RARE PART:
On side 4 there is a proudly raised tax code of KJT I have seen this once before on the White Album It was a transitional tax code which was introduced in 1968, which is the year this album was born.
This tax code didn t last long at all and so it is quite rare to find this album with this tax code.
VERY RARE

The Cover:
EX-
NUMBERED: 025653
It is the first run TOP loading and LOVELY CLEAN, SUPERB shine to it. Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without tears, rips or writing
The spine remains wonderfully strong.
The front cover remains a lovely creamy-white colour and shows very little wear.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS
Correct MONO cover as it doesn t have the printing of Stereo to the back top right.
The top has some very light handling wear-not really worth mentioning.
There are just a few small crescents of spidering to the front and back lamination, with some tiny fingers of spidering emanating from the spine and seam, with very light knocking and rubbing to the corners.
Please see the detailed pictures for yourself and click on them for larger and more detailed images .
AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL
PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADINGS
Very good and very strong Garrod Lofthouse gatefold.
GORGEOUS ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING
Inners:
EX
Original BLACK inners. They are both well looked after with one just having a small 1cm tear to the one-sided window.
They have the die-cut corners and windows on one side to each.
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL
Certainly done their job by looking after these records for all this time
Pictures:
They are EX too AND ALL ORIGINAL.
ALL present John and George, Ringo Paul
They DON T have any pin-holes around their edges...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau s up on their bedroom wall.
Paul has some very light and small patches of staining to the white border-nothing to worry about at all.
Lovely and bright.
Beautiful white backings too
GORGEOUS
