The Beatles Please Please Me Lp Black Gold 1st Uk Pressing Mono

Rare original black gold label LP.
Matrixes XEX 421-N and XEX 422-1N
Mothers/Stampers 1N I think- hard to make out, maybe M? 1O
Side 1 Has scuffs and light marks but plays through nicely without any skips or jumps and just light crackle.
The sound is great, although it does seem to distort a little to the end of the side.
Side 2 has a lot more visible marks and the playback is a bit more crackly.
A few ticks and pops here and there but over-all perfectly listenable.
No skips or jumps anywhere.
There s A Place sounds quite distorted but again, no skips or jumps.

I think it would really benefit from a professional clean as the needle gathers gunk despite the fact that I ve wiped it clean with a record cleaning cloth.

There s a name written on both labels in biro.
Hard to see, but its there in the photos if you look.
The cover has wear and stains see photos .
