THURSDAY MORNING 1st August THIS WEEK ONLY Currently I have HUGE
overstock of some INCREDIBLE items of the HIGHEST rarity - hence the
extra auction
PLEASE NOTE - this week my auction listings, will look slightly different This is because I have absolutely LOADS of items to list, and this is the quickest way to list them - whilst still retaining ALL the very important detail on condition, rarity etc see all details below . Any questions, don t hesitate to get in touch via ebay messages, and GOOD LUCK if you decide to bid Please read on about this AMAZING item below:-
RARITY:- Here we have one of the RAREST Rolling Stones records in the world Yes it is a VERY tall statement, but one that is VERY well known amongst Rolling Stones collectors This is apart from promos etc the RAREST Stock issue of ANY Rolling Stones record EVER MADE I happen to know FOR A FACT that only 1 batch and 1 batch ONLY was ever made in Jamaica, which is hardly surprising, as The Rolling Stones werent popular there. All Jamaican 1st Pressings came with a Gatefold Laminated Imported Garrod Lofthouse UK Export Cover, and a Jamaican 1st Press record inner sleeve made at Federal Records in Jamaica. Which shows how little were ever made - as it was clearly cheaper to import the TINY amount of covers needed, rather than design and make them in Jamaica Incidentally, usually 1 batch was either 300 copies, or 500 copies. So definitely less than 500 copies ever made like this, and almost certainly less than 300 copies ever made as a Jamaican 1st Pressing from 1968 This is UNDOUBTEDLY one of the very VERY rarest Rolling Stones releases anywhere in the world today, and almost IMPOSSIBLE to locate
NB:- It is also worth noting, that Decca / London must have insisted on VERY high standards even in Jamaica - as this record looks and plays SUPERBLY It is also worth noting that this LP is truly 100 COMPLETE as it has its ORIGINAL Jamaican Federal Records inner sleeve - which clearly borrowed its design from the Decca UK inner sleeves of the time
