Both discs have the insanely rare A master stamp in the wax which is an extremely early press, and perhaps one of the earliest Beatles White Albums known to exist today.
All A master stamps below A34 were destroyed because George Harrison didn t like the sound, which would make this A34 the very first released. It s extremely rare to have a disc with both A and B master stamps, which both of these discs have. You may never see this again anywhere. It s very interesting so for your own edification, research it.
As you ll see with most later White Albums, the Master Stamps usually begin with J
In 2017, I spoke with Bruce Spizer about the destroyed Master Stamps and he said to me:
The albums with master numbers below A34 were from Capitol s original
mastering of the album. When George heard what Capitol had done, he
insisted that the album be remastered. Capitol was instructed to destroy
all master stamp numbers from 1-33
