Classic UK 1st Press ridged HMV labels!!! Both sides are GREAT with minimal signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has some light spindle marks from general light use over the years!!! BRILLIANT for a 63 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good!!!

Spectacular Original 1956 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GOOD with NO excessively nasty marks, NO deep scratches that ruin playback, and NO vicious scuffs either!!! It just has quite a few of the usual light, wispy sleeve traces, one or two obvious but still fairly light scratches, and only a few mild hairlines (only visible in angled light) mostly from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these blemishes interfere with play AT ALL, and they CERTAINLY don't effect the smoothness of it's playing!!! Used, but still GREAT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall visually as Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds AWESOME with NO hisses, sticks, or skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has low level static in places such as on the run in grooves, just a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions and only a hint of ULTRA mild and light "bluesman's fag" static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections, but it truly doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! An awesome listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! Absolutely essential!!! AWESOME for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably as Very Good+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Original UK 1956 HMV fully laminated flipback sleeve complete with original unsplit inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks GREAT, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO excessively bad marks AT ALL and still ultra strong and solid after all these years!!! This sleeve only has a few signs of usual ageing such as some light creasing and a touch of a record imprint, evidence of a couple of neatly repaired tears to the bottom right of the front and the centre of the back opening (repaired discretely on the inside with adhesive paper) with the ghost of vague tape remains along the inside edge of the openings only (invisible from the outside), a few minor nicks and seam rubbing with a little touching in here and there to the edges (absolutely nothing drastic, no splits whatsoever) and only some mild ageing to the remarkably clean unlaminated back such as a small piece missing from the bottom right flipback corner and a small little puncture wound to the centre right with some minor storage scufflines mostly to the lower left (nothing overly drastic at all - NO writing OR graffiti whatsoever!!!), some denting/rounding to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the every negative I can possibly find, but this remains a truly GREAT intact (for once) sleeve, and a SERIOUS rarity to find one as brilliant as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains strong, solid and mostly readable!!! Must grade overall as Good+!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
