DISC: Vinyl is nice VG with full original gloss. There are several faint marks that produce very soft tics in a couple places, but no loud clicks or pops. Plays very enjoyably with superb fidelity. Labels are clean. A very nice playing copy.
JACKET: Nice VG . Front art work is nice and bright, with just a few minor traces of ring wear and a couple scrapes at the upper right corner. Reverse is clean, except a bit of light ring wear. Spine has approx 3 split at center otherwise, nice seams. No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other issues. Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the nice disc.
REVIEW:
Jackal released their lone LP, Awake, in 1973 on the Periwinkle label. These Canadian prog rockers deliver a very interesting and creative sound heavy on organ and guitar. The LP is very difficult to locate but it has been reissued on CD and LP as well. Jackal does occasionally rock hard but their style is progressive and psychedelia. A great album.
