Printing Beck brought in George Martin to produce Blow by Blow,
and the result was not only Beck s best album, but Martin s most significant
post-Beatles production.
Martin wrote the string arrangements for two tracks,
Scatterbrain and Diamond Dust and sequenced the album so that its flow
seems inevitable.
