Blur Blur 1997 original FOODLP19 pressing double vinyl M- sleeve M- owned from new.
Side one played a handful of times other three sides played once maybe twice, possibly not at all .
This could easily pass as unplayed.
This is one of five original pressing Blur albums I ve decided to sell from my collection: Parklife 1994 The Great Escape 1995 Blur 1997 13 1997 and Think Tank 2003 I m also listing original pressings from Oasis, Supergrass, Pulp, Radiohead etc etc, so please check my other listings if you are interested in mint or near mint original vinyl from this era.
I ve taken photos of all sides of the sleeves and vinyl in high resolution - the reflections are from my conservatory roof but hopefully you can see clearly the near mint condition of the media.
This comes from my personal record collection of over 1500 vinyl albums put together over 50 years.
As I need to downsize I am starting to advertise a number of rarities starting with 90 s vinyl, which I was still buying while the world had moved to CDs.
I have been an audiophile for as long as I could afford it and moved up from a Thorens TD150 record deck, via Linn Sondek and Pink Triangle to my current SME10, which I ve been running with an SMEV arm and Koetsu Rosewood cartridge for over 20 years.
If that means nothing to you, suffice to say I take extreme care of my vinyl to the extent that I invested in a Loricraft PRCII professional record cleaner nearly 20 years ago and all of my vinyl immediately goes into protective plastic sleeves.
Almost all of my rock/pop collection has been bought from new and I will always make this clear on the listing.
Using the Goldmine standard I follow the principle that no vinyl is mint if it has ever been played so this is rated as M- but there are no audible clicks, pops crackles etc and there are no visible scratches.
Vinyl Side 1 - M- Side 2 - M- Side 3 - M- Side 4 - M- Album sleeve I ve rated as M- there is a ripple about 3cm in length on the front cover opening and the smallest of scuffs on the rear cover edge in the middle as shown in the photos.
The record will be packaged in a Defendapack MusicMax TWISTS mailer with the vinyl removed from the paper liners and with additional internal stiffeners.
