Item Description

My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
A real punk model from LA. Extremely good. Old eBay prices: $876 + $836 + $825. Superclean original first US pressing of the legendary West Coast classic from Los Angeles. Picture sleeve and 7” vinyl are just like if you'd bought them new in 1978. Everything is DEAD-MINT. You will be the second owner. As you know this American punk model by the GERMS was released in four different colour sleeves (yellow, pink, red and goldenrod). All 4 pressings are original ones. The three songs are real crackers, topped with the wonderful voice of Darby Crash. The title holder features superb lyrics like I’m A Lexicon Devil With A Battered Brain. I’m Looking For A Future, The World’s My Aim. I Will Build You Up And Level Your Heads. We Will Run It My Way And Politics Dead. This record also features the wild pre-Hardcore stomper ‘Circle One’ and the lyrics are about the crazy band leader himself. I’m Darby Crash, A Social Blast, A Chaotic Master. I’m Darby Crash, A One Way Match. The last track of this phenomenal all-time classic titled ‘No God’ and is brilliant froth punk, topped with screaming-mad vocals. Produced by Geza X, the guitar player of ‘Dangerhouse’ punk band DEADBEATS (Kill The Hippies). With the band is Nicky Beat of Hardcore Punk band FUNERAL (Waiting For A Bomb Blast) who was also the drummer for famous West Coast combo the WEIRDOS. Issued on Bob Biggs legendary LA punk label ‘Slash’. It’s also the first label release (catalogue number SCAM 101). Labels mates were the PLUGZ and X. In addition, here's the comment from the wonderful FLEX website (US Hardcore Punk Discography):
 Unlike their first 7”, this is of more than just historic value; great fast and snotty 77-style hardcore punk, loud and noisy. One of the true classics of LA punk, and quite possibly their best release. [9]
