Old THE LONGBOATMEN 7 SINGLE TAKE HER ANY TIME / ONLY IN HER HOME TOWN POLYDOR 56115

HISTORY - I m listing the other half of my Grandads old records, these have been in his loft for years stored in an open box and as a result they are all a bit dusty/grubby. I have not tried to clean them but I did buy some sleeves which they will come in. I ve played them all through on both sides and they play fine without jumping.

CONDITION I m stating very bang average condition, dirty/grubby and with play marks to make life easy for everyone, but will try and be more detailed below. I m not a dealer or collector so don t know how to judge the condition in grading form. I ve played it through on both sides, the sound is clean but god is it weird, psychedelic is the word that springs to mind, it s like an acid trip. I ve taken photos in two different lights but my hands are reflecting on the bottom of the single in some of the sunlight ones

SIDE A - when angled in the light there are some faint very light scuff marks but you do have to look hard and angle it to see them, I d imagine they are typical of it being stored with no sleeve. Because of the bloody row the instruments makes, it s hard to say for sure but there could be a couple of audio clicks near the beginning and again a couple about three quarters of the way through. I ve listened three times with it loud and I m still not totally sure its not part of the music.

SIDE B this side has a couple of more visible marks more easily seen when angled in the light, these are from careless playing etc but you cannot feel them with your finger and it plays fine. There are also some more very very faint marks if you really search under angled light that I would attribute to being stored with no sleeve next to the other records Of course having not been stored in cover that would account for the light ones you have to search harder to see.

AUCTION/BUY IT NOW please do not message me asking for a buy it now price, I honestly don t have a clue what it is worth. I only know this and one of my other records are really sought after because I showed my remaining non Demo singles to one of the guys who won a pile of my Demos and collected them in person. He was good enough and honest enough to tell me they would be sought after.
