About : Ultra Rare Original 1970 UK 1st Press This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything LP s were also really expensive to most people back then and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60 s / 70 s record collection Don t miss out on this MEGA RARE LP If you like good music, bid now
Labels :
Classic UK 1st Press red Polydor labels Both sides are OUTSTANDING with NO real signs of age, NO graffiti, and NO writing OR tears whatsoever Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has barely had much play at all FANTASTIC for a 50 year old record Both must grade overall at least as Excellent
Record : Visual -
Spectacular Original 1970 UK 1st Press Vinyl Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks AWESOME with NO nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever The only blemishes are just a few totally non-sounding mild cosmetic paper scuffs, a few of the lightest, wispy sleeve traces/cleaning lines only visible in strong angled light and only a few ULTRA light incredibly feint hairlines mostly from where it has sat or been removed from it s cover over the years Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes interfere with play AT ALL MAGNIFICENT for a record of this age and rarity You ll be amazed by how generally clean and unworn it is Must grade overall at least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Record : Audio -
Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity It really sounds incredible with NO hisses, hops, distortion, sticks OR skips Only like pretty much ALL records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle here and there, a few light ticks here and there on rare occasions, and a hint of low level ultra light bluesman s fag atmospheric static in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections like the run in grooves and between some tracks e.t.c, but it TRULY doesn t overshadow the music AT ALL I d even argue it gives it added soul And that s truly about it The vast, vast majority of the music is ultra clear and sounds ABSOLUTELY AWESOME with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from 1st Press UK vinyl An outstanding listen Absolutely ESSENTIAL OUTSTANDING for a record of this age and rarity Must grade overall audibly at least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Sleeve :
Original 1970 UK 1st Press unlaminated MacNeill sleeve complete with unsplit inner and IMPOSSIBLY RARE lyric insert AWESOME untorn condition with only a miniscule amount of ultra minor incredibly vague handling creases and the previous owners name to the top right - ultra vibrant and totally undulled after all these years BRILLIANT IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP This one is NOT, and looks AWESOME, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves NO bad marks AT ALL, NO splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years Only has a few VERY mild signs of ageing such as a small amount of ultra light edge creases NO half moons and the merest ghost of a record imprint, a fading name to the top of the back and only the most minor light touches of the vaguest general rubbing in few and far between places incredibly common with unlaminated sleeves - truly next to nothing, unbelievably vibrant after all these years , a slight touch of whitening to rare parts of the seams from where it has sat on the shelf over the years minimal - absolutely nothing drastic and NO splits AT ALL , a touch of denting to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP s have, and POSSIBLY just to be sure one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all And that s truly about it I tend to bring it down by listing every minor negative I can possibly find, but this remains a FANTASTIC sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as outstanding as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and AMAZINGLY even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and readable Must grade overall at least as Very Good graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL Customer satisfaction is of 100 importance to me
Summary : A FANTASTIC 100 complete example of this INCREDIBLY RARE classic original 1970 Polydor PROG MONSTER Stereo UK 1st Press LP Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS OUTSTANDING AS THIS YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don t miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60 s/70 s music history Bid now

I ve realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system occasionally with a or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i m having real trouble deciding , so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100 perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps
