Currently selling the record collection of late Swedish composer,
teacher and critic Bj rn Johansson 1913-1983 - this LP comes from his
amazing collection. Johansson s work includes 5 symphonies, several
choir pieces, cello concertos, string quartets and film music. Based in
Gothenburg, he was a music critic in the newspaper G teborgs Handels-
och Sj farts-Tidning during the years 1947-1966. Many of the records
now being auctioned are therefore preview copies received during these
years. The discs are all in superb shape, usually in near mint
condition, having been played just a few times and handled very
carefully Johansson preferred live music rather than listening to records . The collection has been kept in the same apartment and have
not been touched for the past 27 years. We hope these treasured records
will find their way to new homes with classical music aficionados
