Item Description

This rare original Beatles LP from my childhood is in good condition. It has the 1st pressing 1963 Parlophone Black and gold labels which were pre yellow change. Songs are credited to Lennon McCartney which changed later issues. PCM1202 mono Publishing Dick James Cover photo - Angus McBean The Matrix numbers are XEX 421 / 422 Original Emitex inner sleeve Cover no markings and good condition for age edges with a little ware as you can see in photo. rear is in good condition. Sleeve is complete and original Emitex but with old tape to protect edges a rip on the sleeve. Record in very good condition have not played for over 20 years looked after and no signs of scratching. This is a fantastic collectors item.

I have to report I have accidentally just damaged track 5 on side 1.

I do not own a record player so I can not tell how much it has caused this track.

Today, I have played the album for the first time in over 20 years my neighbour has a record player.

I was most interested in the track I damaged, well after 6 plays of that track it performed well.

The rest of the album played very well.
