The Beatles - Yesterday And Today LP / ST2553 / 1966 / Believed to be a Butcher 2nd state 5 . Cover has faint black triangle/ Ringo s collar on right side. Cover was stamped with a 5 on the reverse side indicating it was pressed in Los Angeles. This is the more rare stereo version . Cover is also only 12-3/16 wide indicating the mouth was trimmed after trunk cover was applied. Inside jacket is pink. Bottom binding is split. Based on my research I believe this to be an authentic 2nd State Butcher cover but can make no guarantee. Do your research. Record plays well. Comes as is. Ask questions. I can send addtl pics. Both sides are marked with a tiny 6 pointed star indicating they were pressed in Los Angeles

I wanted have my eyes double checked. I know it is hard to see in these photos the black triangle/collar .
So......
Today I took the album to Record Connection in Ephrata, PA. They have 30 years experience in the record selling/collecting business. The owner verified right away that he could see the Black triangle of Ringo s collar under the trunk sticker. He has 2nd and 3rd state butcher albums of his own and has seen them pass through his shop. It was also verified by 2 of his employees that they could see the collar . One of the employees even told me of how he steamed a trunk sticker off a 2nd state album 40 years ago. Haha. He even left me compare a reproduction 1st state butcher so I could see how the collar lined up with my copy. I can send a pic of the comparison if requested. He looked over everything else on the album and believes it is authentic.
