Item Description

THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME 1962 1st UK STEREO PRESS PCS 3042 Dick James credits YEX 94-1 YEX 95-1 MOTHERS 1 G 1 R MZT TAX CODE EX Vinyl / EX Labels/ EX Audio/ VG Sleeve Welcome to my auction for possibly the rarest and most sought after vinyl record in history, The Beatles Please Please Me otherwise known as the Holy grail by vinyl collectors.
This is a very 1st pressing STEREO pressing with 1G , 1R stampers and Dick James credits on both labels along with the MZT tax code.
The vinyl surfaces are fantastic with only minimal signs of previous use, there are just a few light wispy lines possibly just sleeve removal marks, visible when tilted under light which shows that this has been extremely well looked after for all these years.
The play back is testament to this as it sounds incredible from start to finish with no skips, jumps or pops what so ever, I am confidently going to grade the vinyl as EXCELLENT and playback as EXCELLENT .
The labels are fantastic with virtually no wear at all, the gold lettering is very bright and vibrant and there is hardly any wear around the spindle holes which is a great indicator that although this record has been played it has been played very carefully and not very often.
The labels are graded as EXCELLENT .
The outer sleeve is very nice and yes it is the original stereo GOLD sleeve with the Angus Mcbean credit in the far bottom right corner.
The front is nice with no major defects to speak of, the spine is nice and fully intact.
The rear has some very slight wear to the flip backs and it has a very small neat tear which is hardly noticeable.
It is still extremely clean and retains a lovely white colour which is a rarity as they normally discolour with age.
Sleeve grading is VG .
Overall this is a fantastic example of the worlds most sought after record and is definatly of investment grade.
whilst it is not mint it is certainly up there with some of the best offered on Ebay.Have a good look at the pictures and use the zoom in and enlarge options so you can decide for yourself and please ask if you have any questions as I always answer them back straight away.Good luck My Promise to you the buyer.
When selling on Ebay I want to provide the very best records possible and I will always en devour to describe these records as honestly as possible, being a collector myself I know how important this is and I know what it is like to be disappointed, I deal with many regular customers whom I enjoy dealing with and love building up strong relationships with them as we all have a common love for rare vinyl.
On occasions my opinion my differ from that of the buyer which is perfectly normal as we do not all view things the same way, if we did it would be a boring world Please, Please if there is any problem with a purchase no matter how small let me know and I WILL fix it and remember no matter what the problem is I will always offer a full refund including return postage. One thing I will not tolerate is being held to ransom over feedback which has happened to me recently, anyone trying this will immediately be reported to Ebay.
Happy collecting
